Prior to joining Older Lundy Koch & Martino in 2010, Bob worked for 25 years in a variety of business disciplines, including marketing, software development, financial management, business development, and sales.

Robert Thomas

Bob began his career as a Sales Executive with IBM in 1985 and soon moved into a staff position, assisting sales teams throughout Florida with the preparation of financial analyses to support their sales efforts. While at IBM, he also led a team of salespeople and systems engineers with the mission of working with the healthcare industry.

Bob left IBM in 1995 to join a startup technology company, CommerceQuest, with friends from IBM. He held a variety of managerial positions at CommerceQuest including CFO and President as the company grew from 15 employees to over 500. In 2002 after CommerceQuest was acquired, Bob left CommerceQuest to start his own consulting firm, Parts & Labor, which supplied technology professionals to companies in the Tampa Bay area. Just prior to joining Older Lundy Koch & Martino , he held the position as Regional Sales Manager for IT Exchange, a business partner of IBM offering technology solutions to clients.

Bob earned his B.S. in Computer Engineering at The Ohio State University in 1982, graduating cum laude with a focus on database development. After working for the Westinghouse Electric Corporation he returned to Ohio State to earn his MBA, graduating 3rd in his class with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance. While earning his MBA, Bob taught undergraduate accounting classes in both financial accounting and managerial accounting.
