Carl Mitchell
Carl joined Older Lundy Koch & Martino in 2017 after 14 years with Sivyer Barlow & Watson. Carl practices in commercial and construction litigation and has handled a wide variety of cases, including commercial foreclosures, franchise disputes, fraud, contract disputes, construction industry licensing, construction defects, employment matters, and non-competes. Carl has represented large corporations, including bank and builders, as well as individuals. He has been twice recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Read more below…

Carl Mitchell
Carl graduated cum laude from Stetson University College of Law, where he was part of the trial team and helped guide the school to the #1 ranking in trial advocacy nationwide. While at Stetson, Carl won the National Trial Competition, as well as Best Advocacy. Carl also was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity and won the Ralph Harris Farrell award for individual excellence in competition.
Prior to law school, Carl was an engineer for a printing press manufacturer in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was in charge of manufacturing, quality control, safety, and human resources. After law school, Carl spent over two years as an Assistant State Attorney, trying cases ranging from armed burglary to white collar crimes to murder.
Carl lives in Tampa with his wife, Alison, a practicing criminal defense attorney, and their three children.
