Lindsey French

 CMs. French is a dedicated advocate for her clients and their children, Lindsey French understands that divorce and other family law matters can be extremely complicated and emotionally taxing. Therefore, she is committed to going above and beyond to strive for every single one of her clients throughout the entire litigation process.

Lindsey French received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clemson University and her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University College of Law.  During her time in law school, she served as a certified legal intern for Gulfcoast Legal Services which began her experience working with clients seeking domestic violence injunctions.  Upon graduating and acceptance into the Florida Bar Association, she served as the staff attorney in the Family Law unit.  She continued her passion for representing victims of domestic violence and expanded her practice to include working with clients seeking representation for divorce, paternity, child related custody and support matters.  With a heart for service, she began offering presentations at the local domestic violence shelter.

In 2011, Lindsey French became a founding partner of George & French in Dunedin, Florida.  It was at this time that Ms. French really honed her skills in complex family law litigation matters, including divorce, paternity, child custody and support matters.

Her reputation for zealous representation and overarching fairness led her to become a Certified Supreme Court Family Mediator in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco Counties.

In 2022, Lindsey French brought her expertise to OLDER LUNDY’s marital and family law practice group.  She continues to work on complex family law litigation matters including collaborative divorce, divorce, paternity, child custody and related support matters.   Additionally, Ms. French also handles family law appellate work, serves as a Guardian ad Litem, and continues to serve as a Certified Supreme Court Family Mediator in Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough Counties.

Lindsey received an AV Preeminent Rating in 2023 and was on the executive board for the Canakaris American Inn of Court from 2013-2017. She twice attended the Celebration of Excellence program at the United States Supreme Court. In 2023, Lindsey French received the President’s Award from the Clearwater Bar Association for her excellence and service as Chair of the Family Law Section.

Currently, Lindsey is responsible for overseeing complex family law litigation matters, including collaborative cases for which she was certified in 2017.  Lindsey currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Clearwater Bar’s Law Day Program and immediate past chair of the Clearwater Bar Family Law Section and is a Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator.

She has been appointed by the Court in over seventy-five cases as a Guardian ad Litem to determine the best interest of children.  Lindsey has been a panelist for the Sixth Judicial Circuit ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) conference (2022), as well as a panelist for the Sixth Judicial Circuit Family Law Update (2022) and Bench & Bar Conference (2018, 2021).  She has also presented at the Sixth Judicial Circuit training course: Guardian ad Litem Course for Family Law Attorneys in 2018 and 2021.
