OLDER LUNDY KOCH & MARTINO is Expanding its Commercial Litigation Department
Tampa, FL, November 28, 2022, OLDER LUNDY KOCH & MARTINO, Attorneys at Law, announced that Timothy C. Garding will be joining the firm’s commercial litigation department, bringing with him over a decade of experience along with a stellar reputation for hard work and community involvement. Prior to bringing his expertise to OLDER LUNDY KOCH & MARTINO, Tim was a partner at the law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP in Tampa, where he has practiced since 2009.

A Minnesota native, Tim attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth and received his J.D., cum laude, from The Florida State University College of Law. He has been named to Florida Super Lawyers® annual list of “Rising Stars” for over 5 years and was named one of Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Up and Comers. Most recently, Tim was recognized in the 2023 edition of Best Lawyers in America® for his outstanding professional excellence in private practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Litigation – Construction.
Tim’s extensive commercial litigation experience includes representing individuals and business in disputes involving commercial leasing, landlord-tenant law, complex real estate transactions, restrictive covenants, construction defects, community association law, commercial and residential foreclosures, title/boundary disputes, partitions, and insurance coverage claims. He also routinely represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in trust and real estate litigation. Proactive in his approach, Tim prides himself on his ability to draw on his litigation experience to advise his business clients on various risk management strategies, including labor and employment law and an array of other corporate compliance and governance matters.
Tim is a member of The Florida Bar and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts. He is also a past Board Member of Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts and a past member of the Development Council for The Spring of Tampa Bay.
